What are the dates of the tour?

The tour is planned from July 2nd Wednesday to July 6th Sunday, covering 5 days and 4 nights. Exact dates will be shared in the official announcement.

What locations are covered in this tour?

The tour includes visits to Madurai, Rameswaram, Kanyakumari, and Trivandrum, covering major temples and culturally significant spots along the route.

Is this a spiritual or leisure trip?

It’s a spiritually themed leisure trip. We’ll focus on temple visits with a relaxed pace and include breaks for scenic/nature spots, good food, and comfortable stays.

Travel & Transport

Where do we need to report and how do we return?

Participants need to arrive in Madurai by 4 PM on Day 1 (Wednesday). The return flight should be booked from Trivandrum after 8:30 PM on Day 5 (Sunday).

Will flight tickets be arranged by the organizers?

Flight tickets are not included in the package. Participants are requested to book their flights to Madurai (arrival) and from Trivandrum (departure) as per the timings.

How will local travel be arranged?

A comfortable AC vehicle (Tempo Traveller / Mini Coach) will be arranged for the entire journey, including temple visits and sightseeing.

Stay & Accommodation

What kind of hotels will we stay in?

We have selected well-reviewed 3-star hotels that are clean, safe, and centrally located. Rooms will be on twin/triple sharing basis.

Can I opt for a single occupancy room?

Yes, single occupancy is available at an additional cost. Please mention it during registration.

Food & Meals

Are meals included in the package?

Breakfast and dinner are included every day. We will stop at hygienic and locally recommended restaurants for lunch. Tea/snack breaks will also be scheduled.

Will vegetarian food be available throughout the trip?

Yes, pure vegetarian food will be arranged, especially near temples and for group meals. We’ll also try to include local delicacies where possible.

Temple Visit & Rituals

Will we get proper darshan at temples?

Yes, we’ll try to arrange special darshan tickets wherever possible to reduce waiting time, especially at popular temples like Meenakshi Amman and Rameswaram.

Are there any dress codes for temples?

Yes. Most South Indian temples require modest/traditional attire:

  • Men: Dhoti or pants with a shirt (no shorts).
  • Women: Saree/salwar/kameez or long skirts. Avoid sleeveless tops.
  • Please carry an extra dupatta/stole just in case.
Will any rituals be conducted for the group?

We will guide those who wish to perform rituals such as the 22-well theertham bath in Rameswaram. Participation is optional.

Registration, Payments & Cost

What is the cost of the tour?

The complete cost (excluding flights) will be mentioned in the official brochure. It will cover accommodation, local transport, meals (breakfast/dinner), entry tickets, and guide fees.

What is the payment process?

A 50% advance payment confirms your booking. The balance can be paid two weeks before the trip.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made:

  • 15+ days before: 80% refund
  • 7–14 days: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days: No refund

Health, Age & Fitness

Is the trip suitable for senior citizens?

Yes, the itinerary is leisurely paced with frequent breaks. However, temples may have steps or walking distances, so a basic level of fitness is recommended.

Are medical facilities available en route?

Yes. We will carry basic first aid, and all major towns on the route have hospitals. Please carry your regular medication.

How big will the group be?

We are limiting the group to 15–25 participants for a more personalized experience.

Can children join the trip?

Yes, children above 8 years old who can manage temple etiquette and travel distances are welcome. Please contact us if you plan to bring younger children.

Will a guide accompany us?

Yes, a tour coordinator and knowledgeable guide will accompany the group to share insights and manage logistics.

What should I carry for the trip?

A detailed packing list will be provided after registration. Essentials include:
